JunkMoveHelp answers
Frequently asked questions
Learn how requests, provider responses, job progress, account information, and support work in the local marketplace.
Customer questions
How do I request junk removal or moving help?
Choose the closest service category, describe the items and pickup conditions, add timing and location details, and attach useful photos. Submit the request so eligible local providers can respond.
Am I required to hire after requesting responses?
No. Review the provider profile, proposed scope, price, and availability before deciding whether to accept a response.
What should my pickup photos show?
Show the items, approximate quantity, size, condition, and relevant access route. Remove unrelated people, documents, access codes, license plates, and other private details from view.
How do I compare provider responses?
Compare the full included scope, price, schedule, provider profile, and any conditions. Ask for clarification before accepting if a material detail is unclear.
Where can I follow an accepted job?
Use My Removal Requests and My Orders in your customer account to review the agreed job and its recorded status.
Provider questions
How does a removal company join?
Create a separate provider account, enter accurate company and service-area information, complete the profile, and submit any requested verification documents for review.
Does registration guarantee approval, leads, or jobs?
No. Submitting information does not guarantee approval, lead volume, customer selection, or paid work. Marketplace requirements and customer choice still apply.
How should I price a proposal?
Use the request details to propose the scope, price, and availability your company can honor. Explain exclusions or assumptions clearly before customer acceptance.
How is work progress recorded?
The provider workflow records arrival, work start, progress, and completion. Confirm material scope or price changes with the customer before additional work.
Payments, privacy, and support
How do customer payments and provider fees work?
Customers pay no JunkMoveHelp fee and arrange project payment directly with the provider. After a selected provider accepts the project, JunkMoveHelp issues that provider a 10% platform-fee invoice due within seven business days. Direct project payments are not processed, protected, refunded, or arbitrated by JunkMoveHelp.
Who can see pickup details and photos?
They are intended for authorized marketplace use by the customer, eligible or selected providers as the workflow permits, and authorized support or operations personnel. Upload only information needed for the job.
What should I do if something goes wrong?
Keep the request, proposal, messages, photos, order details, and dates that explain the concern. Use the dispute tools available in your account or contact support. For immediate danger, call 911 or the appropriate local emergency service.
How can I ask about my personal information?
Use the privacy-request form in the Privacy Policy or contact support to request access, correction, deletion, or review. Some records may be retained for security, transaction, tax, legal, or dispute purposes.
Need a different answer?
