Marketplace terms
JunkMoveHelp Marketplace Terms
Version 2026-09-12.1-rc · Effective 2026-09-15
These terms govern customer and Service Provider use of the JunkMoveHelp marketplace.
1. Marketplace role
JunkMoveHelp provides a marketplace where customers describe requested work and independent Service Providers may submit proposals. JunkMoveHelp is not the hauling or moving provider, does not employ the Service Provider, does not set the provider’s project price, and does not guarantee that a request, proposal, selection, or project will be completed.
2. Accounts and acceptable use
Users must be at least 18 years old, provide accurate account information, keep credentials secure, use the correct account role, and comply with applicable law. Fraud, impersonation, harassment, unsafe conduct, unauthorized access, misuse of personal information, and attempts to bypass marketplace security are prohibited.
3. Requests, proposals, and acceptance
A customer may compare or reject proposals without obligation. Selecting a proposal notifies the Service Provider and does not charge the customer. The project starts in the marketplace only after the selected provider accepts it. The parties must document and agree to material changes in items, access, timing, scope, or price.
4. Customer payments
Customers owe no JunkMoveHelp platform fee under the current model. Customers and Service Providers arrange and resolve payment for project work directly. JunkMoveHelp does not collect, hold, transfer, or pay out those project funds, and direct project payments do not receive a JunkMoveHelp payment guarantee, protected-payment coverage, escrow service, refund administration, or arbitration promise.
5. Service Provider platform fee
Before accepting selected work, the Service Provider is shown and must acknowledge a platform fee equal to 10% of the accepted proposal. Acceptance creates the provider’s invoice, due within seven business days. An overdue invoice restricts the provider from new leads, new proposals, and new-project acceptance until verified payment, while access to existing accepted projects and the invoice-payment route remains available.
6. Independent Service Providers
Service Providers are independent businesses responsible for their personnel, vehicles, equipment, permits, licenses, insurance, taxes, safety practices, work quality, project pricing, and legal compliance. Profile or document review is limited and is not a guarantee of identity, licensing, insurance, safety, quality, or future conduct.
7. Cancellations, disputes, and safety
Participants should communicate through the available project records and preserve relevant evidence. JunkMoveHelp may review marketplace conduct and restrict accounts, but it does not automatically decide or reimburse disputes over payments made directly between participants. Emergencies, threats, suspected crimes, hazardous materials, and immediate safety concerns should be directed to the appropriate emergency or public authority.
8. Content, privacy, and communications
Users may submit only content they are authorized to provide and grant JunkMoveHelp permission to use it to operate, secure, support, and improve the marketplace. Personal information is handled under the Privacy Policy. Account and transaction-related email or text messages may be sent when the applicable delivery channel is enabled.
9. Suspension and termination
JunkMoveHelp may limit or suspend access to protect users or the platform, enforce these terms, investigate suspected misuse, respond to legal requirements, or address overdue provider invoices. Records may be retained when reasonably required for security, disputes, accounting, legal obligations, and the Privacy Policy.
10. Changes and contact
Material changes will be published with an effective date and, when appropriate, require renewed acceptance. Questions may be sent to help@junkmovehelp.com or JunkMoveHelp LLC, 205 Elm St, Lexington, SC 29072.
